Topper and Troy have had some jumping practice this week on a rare day when our usually incredibly reliable arena wasn't frozen, flooded or snowed under! We challenged Topper by putting up a course of 1.10m and he really rose to it. No problems for Topper!
Troy did some gridwork to work a bit on his technique. He's rising 5 this year so his work will become gradually more demanding now. New boy Archie went out in the big-guys field for the first time this week. Here's a bucket load of pictures of how it went! Featuring:
Archie - Navy full-neck rug with red lining. Troy - Big chestnut in red rug Tyke - Little chestnut in purple rug Oscar - Grey in blue rug Monty - Small pony Lady - no rug And some bonus pictures of Misty and Topper having some fun too! Took some pictures and a short video of Topper yesterday. We put some jumps up and he was just amazing! Kept putting it up and up, think we left it at about 1m but he could easily have gone much higher as he just flew it, barely even looking at it. He's going to make someone a seriously fantastic competition pony! Think if I water him he'd grow?
Misty and Topper arrived on Sunday and have been in after being wormed so were very happy to be let out in the arena to let off some steam! They'll be going out in a little field together tomorrow and doing a bit more work so hopefully will be able to get you a bit more information. Got them both under saddle for a bit today though and had a bit of a potter. Full info and price will be up by the end of the week with any luck once they've really been put through their paces.
