14.3hh 5yo bay Irish-bred gelding.
Henry is a real character and great fun to have around. He is a cheeky chappy who loves fuss and attention and is always ready to play - wouldn't suit someone who is intimidated by a horse with a personality! He is well-handled and good on the ground with no stable vices or medical history.
An out and out jumping machine, for Henry the dream job is fun rides, beach rides, hunting, adventure and lots of jumping! He is an 'out and about' horse, he doesn't want to be spending a lot of time in the school going round in circles. He is incredibly bold and takes you into a fence nicely without being at all strong or silly. Very careful over a fence whilst still making it feel effortless. Schooling over showjumps, water trays, fillers and cross country fences and hasn't been phased by anything so far. Would event for someone with the patience to put the work in on the flat. Doesn't get hot or fizzy.
Nicely forward and responsive with 3 very good, expressive paces. Flatwork is not his favourite thing but he is straight and obedient with the potential to do a lovely test with the right work. We have been working on getting him forward and straight and not faffing with his head carriage but he is showing nice moments to build on as he strengthens up. He is willing and trainable just weak still which affects his carriage and canter quality. He is not going to suit someone who is looking for something already schooling on the flat.
Ready to go out and have some fun with an adult, teen or child, or would be a super project for a capable rider looking for a nice young horse to bring on for sport or pleasure. He is a nice horse with a bit about him and nice big paces so isn't suitable for a very unbalanced rider.
Has mostly been used for hacking in his current home and he is great at it. Hacks out on his own and in company, very good in traffic. We are told he has hunted in Ireland but we aren't able to verify this. He is sane and mannerly and great on fun rides so I see no reason why he wouldn't go.
For sale on behalf of a client. Serious enquiries please call. Texts, messages and e-mails won't be answered. Videos available on the Amy Derber Equestrian Facebook page.
15hh 5yo chestnut Irish gelding. Pocket rocket hunting machine!
Quality compact model with good bone, a very attractive stamp with a sweet outlook. A serious mover with an active trot and a super uphill, balanced canter. A comfortable and genuine ride, not nappy or strong. Trainable and willing.
Neabhan is a real pocket rocket on the hunting field. He is bold, quick over the ground and a super jumper. He keeps up easily with the frontrunners and likes to be where the action is. Mannerly and polite but does love the job, he doesn't want to be bumbling along at the back on a loose rein whilst the rest of the field is off having a whale of a time. This is his first season so still a little green but very game and willing. Would suit a forward-thinking lady or teen up for a fun day out!
Has done some cross country schooling, also bold enough to team chase.
Much quieter to ride at home and doesn't love his schoolwork but complies obediently enough. More of an outdoor horse, would prefer to school in a field or outdoor arena than my indoor.
Good off the leg, starting to take the contact and showing some very promising work but we haven't done lots of schoolwork with him so very much lacking in this area currently. Will come on well with the right rider with potential for dressage and working hunter. Lunges well.
He is popping a course of showjumps really sweetly and is very straightforward to and from a fence. Jumps coloured and natural fences and is very bold, schooling over fillers and water trays. Hasn't said no to anything we've asked so far. He is brilliant to hack, marches out and is un-phased by traffic. Will go first or last, good in open spaces. He has a bit about him so not for a novice or windy rider.
Straightforward and rewarding young horse for a capable rider. Mannerly on the ground and wants to please but he is still a bit green and can be wary of strangers on the ground. Please keep this in mind when viewing. He likes people and attention but he does want someone he can trust and really thrives from a close partnership. Once he knows and trust you he will go anywhere and do anything for you. No vices.

14.3hh 5yo reg Connemara gelding Capparoe Lad x Ballyard Prince. Quality little horse with a fantastic brain.
Very attractive, correct, upstanding model with a great front. Showing some quality work with a super willing and trainable attitude and a wise head on young shoulders. Already a super hunter with potential to be a smashing allrounder. Nice big shoulder but is a petite model so would best suit a rider under 5'4". Has the right temperament for a teen or child.
Moves very well with 3 good paces, including a massive uphill canter that is going to be really quite special as he strengthens. Fantastic hind leg. Good mouth, working sweetly and easily into the contact. Has only been schooling for a short time so does still lack mileage on flatwork schooling however he has come on very quickly in a short space of time and is ready to go out and do a smart intro test. Is not yet cantering a 20m circle. Currently always in a snaffle including out hunting, never strong or silly. Jumps a fence really sweetly, has schooled over coloured poles and cross country fences. Super bold, not much phases him and he will give everything a try. Gives a lead to less bold horses on fun rides and hunting. Incredibly genuine in everything he does. A really sweet, kind, genuine, straightforward youngster with a laid back attitude.
Has started out dragging this season which he takes in his stride, behaving beautifully and being both mannerly and bold. Happy to toddle along at the back or be front of the field. Out dragging regularly now ready for someone to carry on with. Has also done fun rides where he behaves impeccably and jumps everything. Could be hunted by a child.
Great to hack, shows real maturity in his attitude and everything he does. Seen traffic, good in open spaces. Genuine, willing, trainable youngster with the basics in place and a bit of mileage, ready to be produced and get out and about. No vices, quirks or medical history.

16.3hh 6yo mare Lauriston x Silvio II
Kaida is a real quality model with plenty of ability and a kind sweet nature. Basics established and has been out and seen the world, now ready to be produced further with serious potential for dressage or eventing.
Given time to mature as a 4yo then started her ridden career last year as a 5yo. She was very straightforward to do and has been produced on slowly. Last year she draghunted, hunter trialed, cross country schooled, showjumped, dressaged and hacked.
Lovely attitude to her work, very willing and trainable. She has 3 massive paces with a good mouth and has started learning basic laterals. Shows great scope and ability over a fence, she really is a class prospect for sport.
Excellent to handle and do on the ground. Always kind. Good to hack. Always in a snaffle. Passed two full 5 stage vettings last year with x-rays and another one recently. Her full history is known from birth.
Low mileage for her age due to being in the wrong home for 7 months before we brought her back. Now schooling and working well, she is ready for a competent rider to continue her journey. Ideal for a competent rider looking for a quality horse on a budget. She gets her confidence from her rider so wants a rider not a passenger.
On her most recent vetting a heart murmur was picked up after hard exercise. This was not considered to be of great significance and she still passed the vetting. Happy to discuss further and she has no other vet history.
Right home is essential and we will not be letting her go otherwise.
16.2hh 5yo registered ISH gelding, almost full Irish Draught.
Compact model with great bone and a deep girth so he really takes up the leg without feeling at all like a big horse. Very comfortable ride with a good mouth, not at all strong or silly. Super straightforward in every way. Really has the smile factor - I am grinning from ear to ear every time I ride him!
Hunted a full season last year in Ireland. Started up again this season and is ready to crack on! Has been hunted by men and women, always in a snaffle. Suitable for lady or gentleman and is sure to make a smashing Masters horse or equally useful as a confidence giver. Great attitude, mannerly and bold to a fence. Super jumper with good scope and technique. Takes you in without being strong and gives you confidence. Has also hunter trialled this year with the potential to be a super allrounder alongside a great hunter.
Working sweetly on the flat, just a bit green still in his schooling as he hasn't done a lot but is very willing and improves with every session. Lovely big canter and has the potential to do a lovely test in the future for someone willing to put a bit of work in.
Schooling over showjumps, water trays, fillers and cross country fences - we haven't yet found anything that phases him! He is so straightforward to a fence.
Excellent to hack, goes alone and in company and is very bold in everything he does. Will happily take the lead. Good with the traffic and in open spaces. Has been ridden, jumped and hacked out here by nervous riders but wouldn't be suitable for a complete novice due to still being a bit green. No quirks or vices. He is a real find and will be someone's horse of a lifetime.

3yo premium graded Oldenburg chestnut filly Bonds x Magic Memphis x Rouletto. Strong prospect for dressage or eventing.
Quality athletic model. Very attractive and correct with 3 uphill paces. Her sire, Bonds, brings together two leading dressage sires in Belissimo M and Sir Donnerhall, making this filly a strong prospect in the dressage arena. She is out of a a Westphalian 1 and Oldenburg graded dam by Magic Memphis. The dam has also produced one licensed son and a number of other offspring competing in Germany.
Mini is recently backed and riding, showing a super attitude to her work under saddle. She has the most wonderful, easy going temperament and is very user-friendly. Comfortable in her own company, not at all clingy, can be left on her own. Happy in or out. Not a hot or stressy type and would be ideal for a competent, competitive amateur.
Showing real class over a fence in her loose jumping. Athletic and careful with quick reflexes, strong technique and quick learner who improves every time round. Incredibly bold, already jumping fillers and isn't phased by much generally. This combined with her lovely paces would make her an ideal event prospect for a professional or amateur to produce on for age classes next season.
No quirks or vices, excellent to handle and do on the ground in all ways. For sale on behalf of a client.
Incredibly exciting 16.2hh 4yo chestnut ISH gelding Carlo Bank x Ramiro B.
Top quality gelding bred to event. Very well put together, compact athletic model with great limbs. Still growing and maturing in to himself, given time he really will be quite special. Completely unspoilt. Has been brought on slowly this year to give him space to grow and has been started to the highest standard. Ready to produce on for next years age classes.
Riding very well with three active, well balanced paces. Takes the contact nicely and is light in front, rides straight and correct. Massive uphill canter which remains rideable. Established flying changes.
Very rideable to a fence, can put him anywhere. Super bold, has schooled round showjump courses and cross country. Naturally careful with good technique, makes a great shape. Plenty of stride for the cross country. He really does have the qualities to shine in all three phases. Finds the work easy and is very willing and genuine in everything he does.
Great brain and exceptional temperament. Very laid back, not at all sharp or silly. Quiet enough for any amateur, certainly talented enough for a professional. A pleasure to have on the yard. One to watch for the future.
Absolutely no quirks or vices. Passed a 5 stage vetting earlier this year. For sale on behalf of a client only because he has grown bigger than expected.

16hh 4yo sports horse gelding Handels Classic x Eurocommerce Rome. Well-related serious showjump prospect. Would also be a strong prospect for American Hunter classes.
Full brother to Love Handel C.S from a proven performance damline. Compact, powerful, athletic model. Showing good work on the flat and has been backed and produced by small lady riders. Moves very well with a naturally uphill canter, changes legs naturally round a course.
Jumping training shows and British Novice on a ticket. Naturally careful and quick over the ground, has been given time to mature and hasn't been over-faced. Very bold to a fence and clever with his feet, tries very hard and doesn't stop. Ready to register and crack on with. Serious contender for next years age classes and beyond. Straightforward enough for a competent amateur or teen.
Has also done some basic cross country schooling. His good movement, big stride and bold nature would also make him a strong event prospect.
Hacks out, good on the roads and in open spaces. Tyke is a real character who will make you laugh every day. Same home since a foal, full history known. Very willing, trainable, genuine horse with a bright future.
Quality sports horse who needs a job to do, not suitable for a novice or as a happy hacker.

16.2hh 9yo black KWPN gelding Vleut (Quick Star) x Ferro.
Tall, dark and handsome with the most amazing temperament - Rio really is the full package and truly one in a million. A real favourite on the yard amongst the whole team and part of the family.
Rio is the ultimate amateurs competition and leisure horse. He is well established, trustworthy, bold, straightforward and pretty! He isn't a high drive horse so is indifferent as to whether he is in a competition home or a happy hacking leisure home.
Rides very well on the flat with 3 expressive, uphill paces. Straight and correct, plenty of presence, would certainly do BD and shouldn't need much riding for a sub 30 BE test. Lateral work, medium work and flying changes. However! You do need to be able to ride a horse forward from your leg into a nice contact, or at least be willing to learn as his default position is to be above the verticle. For someone who can ride this isn't an issue but if you find a horse with a high head carriage intimidating and you don't know what to do about it then he is not for you. He is not a robot or a machine, if you ride him nicely he will go beautifully, gives you the most amazing feeling and is a real pleasure to ride. If you only know kick and pull, or have the feel and effectiveness of a wet noodle then you will struggle to get a tune. For someone wanting to take their riding to the next level and is willing to learn about riding kindly and correctly he would be the ultimate schoolmaster.
For jumping Rio is a real professional and such a confidence giver. He is super bold and careful both showjumping and cross country. He has excellent length of stride for cross country and is easily in the money in a jump off without needing to push or take any risks. Has done some BE with a previous owner. Has done elite level Pentathlon at 1.10m, an absolute testament to his incredible temperament and ability. Scope for at least Foxhunter. Clever, quick thinking and athletic. Ideal as an introductory competition horse or for someone who wants the chance to move a drama free horse up the levels.
A gentleman in all environments. He is the one everyone wants to take hacking, to their first competition, to the local hunter trial etc. Excellent both alone and in company, in open fields and on the roads. He is a real go anywhere, do anything type of horse and nothing phases him. Absolutely no vices and nothing sharp, silly or quirky about him. Happily living out in a herd in summer and in during the winter. Good to do in the stable, very affectionate and loves a cuddle but isn't mad keen on lots of grooming and mollycoddling. Ideal for teenager or competitive amateur for looking for a straightforward, talented horse for affiliated competition or riding club.
Very sad sale of a much loved horse, all enquiries will be throughly vetted before being allowed to view and if the right home isn’t found he will be kept on. Please call in the first instance to discuss - messages, e-mails and texts will NOT be answered.
