13hh rising 7yr old Traditional Gypsy Cob gelding.
Everyone who meets Seamus adores him! Very reluctant sale of much loved boy who is adorable in every way.
Seamus came to me 2yrs ago as a very nervous, unbroken and unhandled chap. I did plenty of groundwork and gaining his trust before starting the breaking process. He’s been an absolute delight and very straightforward.
He is now seeking his forever home with a family that will love him just as much.
He is forward going to ride but not strong and requires a competent, confident child to continue his education further.
He hacks alone and in company but can be green on his own (looks at things and needs reassurance). Doesn’t buck, spin, or rear.
Good in traffic.
Has won or been placed everytime out showing in-hand and done a small cross poles SJ round
Seamus needs a competent, confident child to continue his education further and take him out and about. A PC home would be perfect for him.
No vices and clean limbed.
For sale on behalf of a client. Serious enquiries to please call ONLY. MESSAGES WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. All video can be found on the Amy Derber Equestrian Facebook page by searching 'Seamus'
Smart, big, strong filly bred for a top job. Avril is a very sweet, kind, affectionate horse and an absolute pleasure to have around. She graded Gold as a foal in the Futurity series and is a well put together model with 65% blood. Good limbs, barrel and chest. Has started groundwork, taking everything in her stride. Moves very well and has recently been introduced to loose jumping showing great form but has not been rushed or over faced. Loves people! Quality enough for a pro and easy enough for an amateur.
Avril is a big classy filly who is expected to mature around 16.3hh.
Good xrays including the back and clean basic health check.
By JAGUAR MAIL - His exceptional international showjumping career included the 2008 Olympic Games, & many grand prix wins. He has quick reflexes, good strength in his back, a fantastic technique, & three superior gaits with a brilliant canter. Jaguar offers a superb & kind character that is generous & respectful, with outstanding trainability & rideability. He is ranked second on the 2018 WBFSH Sire Rankings for eventing, & is the sire of European gold medallist FischerTakinou & double World Young Horse Champion, Tenareze. He had placings at both the French Championships and the World Breeding Championships for young horses. At 7 years old, Jaguar began competing at Grand Prix, and by the following year was already on the WBFSH rankings.
Avril's dam Annie is by the international showjumping Argentinus x Acord II stallion Tinarana Goldwave and she is out of a Puissance mare. Her own dam jumped to 1.30m and has produced eventers to 3* and showjumpers to 1.30m.
Very sad sale of a quality homebred filly that we think very highly of. Dam and yearling maternal sibling can be seen.
Approx 15.3hh 6yo Connemara x TB gelding. Genuine and talented competition horse.
Diego is an attractive and sporty blood, athletic model with a super kind and sweet temperament. He was purchased directly from the breeder in Ireland in August 2020 and has been backed and produced by the current owner with professional assistance when the owner took a break. Previous to this owner felt safe enough to continue riding him until she was 4/5 months pregnant!
Diego rides well on the flat with a good mouth and 3 lovely paces. He is very slightly cold-backed when you first get on which is very easily managed by just keeping a light seat at first, he has never bucked. He does need a minute to warm up but once he is moving he moves very well and produces some beautiful work. He is nicely schooled and has competed in unaffiliated dressage with the potential to focus on this or help turn him into a super eventer.
Diego is bold to a fence both cross country and showjumping. He has been out showjumping and arena eventing, showing himself to be careful and scopey with plenty of potential to produce up the levels showjumping or eventing. Very rideable to his fences and covers the ground well. Gives you a great feeling without pinging you into the ceiling! Will only improve as his canter gets stronger.
Diego is excellent to handle on the ground, he is a real pet who just wants to be loved and appreciated! He hacks out alone and in company but prefers to be behind rather than in front. He is good in traffic and in open spaces, currently in a snaffle for all activities.
Diego is an absolute bargain for a confident, competent rider looking for a quality, genuine horse to produce.

15.1hh 5yo partbred cob gelding. Super genuine fun, forward competitive allrounder with potential for BE, BS and BD.
Brian is a lovely sweet boy with a good bit of bone and barrel in a sporty frame so not too heavy or wide. Not a kickalong cob type at all, he has plenty about him! Easy to do on the ground and have around the yard, an amenable chap who is used to coming in and out away from his herd and doing things on his own.
Super mover with 3 expressive, uphill paces. Brian is working sweetly in the school including showing some lovely work into the contact. Working nicely at Prelim level and has been getting very promising comments at his first local shows. For a 5yo he is only as green as you ride him. He is a forward, responsive ride with plenty of engine, off the aids and will carry you forward. Very willing and trainable with a great attitude to his work, he has already come on very quickly for us in only a short space of time. Goes best for a confident rider who can ride forward from the leg in to a soft hand. Moves well enough and is trainable enough for BD with the right rider.
Showing great ability and scope over a fence and has started attending local shows. Schooling well around courses of fences away from home, improves every time out and has jump to spare. Brian is bold and quick thinking and will take you in without being strong. Potential for BS and NSEA with the right rider.
Has been cross country schooling, bold with water, ditches, banks. On a roll to build him up over winter to hit the ground running in spring. Basics established, just needs mileage. Would be a real BE Grassroots or Cotswold Cup prospect and an asset to any PC or RC team with a bit more mileage.
Previously privately owned where he was a happy hacker who also did fun rides and low level riding club activities. Although he hasn't done it yet, we think Brian would enjoy having a go at hunting.
Brian is good to hack, he goes alone and in company and is good on the roads and in open spaces. Currently in a snaffle for all activities. Brian is good to do on the ground and easy to have around with no quirks or vices. He is a kind, genuine, affectionate soul who really is looking for his next best friend!
Brian is not a brain dead bicycle, he is a sporty little cob with enough quality and ability to be whatever you want him to be. He would best suit a confident, competitive rider looking for a genuine young horse with the basics established to get cracking with.
Serious enquiries to please call ONLY. Texts and messages WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. All video can be found on the Amy Derber Equestrian Facebook page by searching for 'Brian'
15.2hh 4yo Irish Cob gelding. Top quality allrounder who will have a go at anything!
Jim Doyle is a stunning model. Compact, correct, well marked and doesn't feel like you're riding a table! Potential to show as a maxi cob but has shown the aptitude to be able to try his hand at pretty much anything!
Jim Doyle is showing promising work in the school despite him finding it a bit boring! He moves very well across all three paces and is light both on his feet and in the hand with a mouth like butter. Weak and wobbly in the school due to age but he is obedient to the aids and really tries hard to please, a balanced rider makes all the difference to him. With his paces and trainability he has all the potential to do a super test with the right production. He has not been over produced and is currently benefitting from a well rounded education of hacking, fun rides, cross country schooling and local shows to establish the basics.
Very sweet round a course of fences and is out jumping at shows and clear rounds. Not at all phased by fillers or different environments and he is easy to take out and about. Has done fun rides and cross country schooling, always behaving impeccably. Has been done very sympathetically, always jumps everything first time and has schooled water, ditch and bank. Would look very impressive on the hunt field and has all the potential to make a super hunter. Has done hound exercise where he behaved impeccably.
Loves hacking, goes on his own or in company and really marches out. Good on the roads and in open spaces, always ridden in a snaffle. No vices or quirks, straightforward horse for a competent rider, with a personable, friendly disposition and enough character to make him more than just a kickalong cob. He is a lovely boy that has been ridden here confidently by all levels of rider but has enough about him to not be an idiots ride.
Serious enquiries to please call only. Texts and messages won't be answered. All video can be found on the Amy Derber Equestrian Facebook page by searching for 'Jim Doyle' using the search function.
16hh 6yo PRE Andalusian gelding. Super competitive Spanish jumping machine looking for an equally competitive and confident jockey to take him up the levels.
Califa is a super sporty, compact, athletic model who absolutely loves to jump.
3 well balanced paces and works nicely into the bridle, would do a nice test with a touch more production but we are not selling him as a dressage horse. Forward, responsive ride with a big uphill canter that improves every day. Rides like a big buzzy jumping pony but with no shortage of stride! Needs a confident, forward-thinking rider who can ride from the seat and leg with a soft hand. Can lack a bit of confidence sometimes to start with and nap, especially with a new rider, but if you ride him forward he gets on with it happily.
Super genuine and bold to a fence, Califa absolutely loves to jump and is super competitive with it. Completely unphased by all types of fences whether showjumping or cross country, doesn't look at fillers or trays. Will come in on any stride or angle and gives it his best shot, has not said no to anything yet. Quick over the ground and as his canter improves and strengthens up he will only get better and better. Ready for British Novice today and would finish up Newcomers by the end of the year with the right rider. Also has plenty of potential to event with the right production and a bit more time spent on the flat.
Has also driven and done fun rides. Currently in a snaffle for all activities.
Califa is a super friendly, affectionate easygoing horse who is an absolute pleasure to have around. He is a real sweetheart and the loveliest boy, there aren't enough positive superlatives I can use to describe his nature, he is a real pet. Easy to do on the ground and have around in every way. turns out well with others, comes over to you in the field to say hi and is always happy to see you. He has plenty of personality and wants to be everyone's friend!
Great to hack in company, can be nappy to hack on his own at first but improves over time as the relationship develops. Great in traffic and in open spaces, he is not a spooky silly type at all.
Califa is a forward, responsive, competitive ride who would best suit an ambitious, confident, capable rider looking to go up through the levels and have a great deal of fun doing it! Would not suit a novice or nervous rider. Only for sale at this stage due to rider injury, price will increase once he is back out competing again.
Serious enquiries to please call ONLY. MESSAGES WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. Has been known to nap when insecure or hacking on his own which can escalate into rearing. Improves enormously with a confident rider. All video can be found on the Amy Derber Equestrian Facebook page just search for 'Califa'
16.2hh 10yo bay British-bred Oldenburg gelding Cooper van de Heffink x Argentinus.
Teddy is a big, quality horse with a lovely old-fashioned Warmblood frame and sweet outlook. He has been in the same home for 2 years and his full history is known. Bred in the UK by the Corhampton Stud and initially produced for showjumping before focusing on dressage with his current owner, who is his third home.
Teddy has competed to Novice level dressage and is schooling Elementary at home. He is not at all far off Medium and will progress easily with the right rider as he is so trainable and willing to learn. Competed regularly at unaffiliated and twice at BD at a home competition venue.
Lockdown period and lack of finances sadly has restricted the amount of competition time. Average scores of high 60s/70%. Teddy has 3 active, rideable, balanced paces with established lateral work and counter canter. He is a forward, responsive ride who desperately wants to get it right for you. Everyone who rides Teddy gets off smiling! Showing a natural ability for collection with great potential to produce up the levels for the right rider.
Teddy is a well produced, sensitive type who so wants to please that he will always do his absolute best to answer any question you ask. He takes his confidence from his rider so requires a confident, capable, kind rider who is able to ride from the seat.
Teddy was bred for and initially produced for jumping and his ability over a fence is easy to see. We are told that he has competed previously up to 1.10m in training shows with a previous home but did not jump with his current owner due to personal preference. We have been jumping him here including schooling round courses away from home and he has shown himself to be bold and willing with fantastic ability over a fence. Plenty of potential to get him back up to scratch for showjumping and he is ready to get out BS now. He is forward to his fences and takes you in without being silly about it and staying rideable. He enjoys the job and does his absolute best to clear the fence, he is very careful both in front and behind.
Teddy hacks both alone and in company and both on and off road. Doesn't get silly in open spaces and is good in traffic but he is not a low level happy hacker type horse looking for a happy hacker home. Very much a sports/competition type horse.
A kind, genuine, sweet boy who really thrives on a close relationship with his person. He is a pleasure to have around and has never entertained a bad thought in his head. Good to do on the ground. Good to clip, catch and with his feet.
Passed a 5 stage vetting in May 2020 and has no history of lameness or health issues with current owner. Teddy is a good doer and currently shod in front but has previously been barefoot for the last 2 years with absolutely no issues. Will live in or out and gets on very well in a herd - he would prefer this to individual turnout.
For the right home Teddy really is the horse of a lifetime with so much to teach his rider but also so willing and able to learn.

16hh 4yo Irish military vehicle!
Rhino is an incredible stamp of a horse that is getting increasingly harder to find. A compact, stocky all-terrain vehicle without being heavy. Good solid limbs without having tree trunks. Plenty of barrel and chest without feeling like you're riding a table - more like an armchair! Very smart eye-catching model with clean limbs that could potentially show.
Rhino's dream job seems to be hunting - he could carry a man all day and is one of the boldest horses we've ever had. The more you dare him the better he goes. Absolutely ready for hound exercise now.
Although he's built like a tank, Rhino has shown enough movement, scope and athleticism to potentially event in the off season along with all other riding club activities. Shows some good moments on the flat with lovely paces and potential for a smart test but he hasn't yet been hammered in the school. Very much a blank slate ready to produce.
Schooling over showjumps and fillers. Cross country schooled including ditches, water, banks, hedges, corners, shoulders and all manner of fences, jumping everything first time. He takes everything on as if he has done it before.
Good to hack, good on the roads and in open spaces, alone and in company. Good to do on the ground in all ways and a lovely sweet friendly chap who is always happy to see you.
Rhino is absolutely not an idiots ride - think streamlined tank! He is forward off the leg, responsive, and as bold as the ocean is wet. He is looking for a confident, capable rider to get cracking on with. He is not the sort who needs to take his confidence from his rider and is happy to help out when needed but doesn't want to be taken advantage of.
A seriously smart horse and a type that is getting very difficult to find! Serious enquiries to please call ONLY. TEXTS AND MESSAGES MAY NOT BE ANSWERED. All video can be found on the Amy Derber Equestrian Facebook page by searching 'Rhino'
15.3hh 8yo Connemara x Cob gelding. The ultimate hunting/jumping machine!
Bob is an established hunter with 4 seasons under his belt, now ready for his 5th! He lives for his hunting and is brilliant at the job. He is a bold, straightforward point and shoot type who will take anything on. Ideal for a game rider either looking for a machine to introduce them to hunting or for someone looking for a horse who loves it as much as they do! Will go front, middle or back.
Bob is also brilliant on a fun ride. He will nanny the less experienced horses and give confidence to his rider. He would also certainly team chase.
Bob is also very bold cross country and would be a super Pony Club tetrathlon horse. He is careful showjumping and would be a fun and competitive horse to take up the levels BS. Would also be an asset to any NSEA or PC/RC team. Bob is straightforward to a fence, he holds his rhythm and locks on without dragging you in. Doesn't get silly and is both bold and careful with a lovely technique. A confidence giver who could really bring a rider on.
Bob has not had much schooling on the flat and although he tries his best he doesn't really enjoy it. He can produce some nice work with good riding but if you're looking for a horse to school or if you're thinking that he needs bringing on on the flat then you are not the home Bob is looking for. He is one of the best around for the job he does and he would be happiest and best used staying in that job.
Solid as a rock to hack both alone and in company, on the roads and in open spaces. Excellent to do on the ground in all ways, he is the sweetest, kindest horse you'll meet with no vices or quirks. User friendly, not spooky or sharp. Turns out happily in a herd.
For the right rider Bob really is the horse of a lifetime!
