Minnie - Band B
15.2hh 8yo chestnut mare by Assertive.
A true grassroots schoolmistress with scope to progress. Careful, quick and scopey enough to also excel showjumping. A serious horse for a serious amateur or teenager.
Amateur owned and produced in the same home for 5 years. Has been kept on a small private set-up mostly being asked to hack and go to competitions on her own, which she has done happily. Has also been on large yards with no issue. Has mostly been ridden and schooled on paddocks so is excellent in open spaces and on all kinds of terrain.
Works well on the flat with 3 very good paces. Proven to be capable of sub 30 tests. Needs a rider who can ride forward from the leg not backwards from the hand, or you won't go anywhere!
Tremendous scope and heart to a fence. Just keep her straight and keep her coming and she will bust a gut to get it right. This mare is a real trier! All the scope you need in the tank and super careful for it, would have a bright future showjumping. Has never been registered BS so plenty of potential to start from the bottom up.
Her BE record speaks for itself, 46 foundation points in 17 outings. She has been well maintained and looked after and not overcooked out competing which shows in her love for the job. A seriously competitive horse for grassroots eventing and beyond, with the right rider.

Not at all mareish. Lives out 24/7 in all weathers and is a very good doer. Hacks out alone and in company, good in all traffic, straightforward on the ground and to do in all ways. A pet to take out and about. Doesn't need working every day, can be left for weeks if necessary!
Pulls faces when being girthed or brushed under her belly but she is all froth no beer. Has a small sarcoid on belly that has not changed. Known to windsuck.
No novices. Serious enquiries only.
