Otto is a stunning, well put together model with strong limbs and good feet. Recently (April) retired sound from flat racing as too slow. Has only just started retraining and so is very much a blank slate for someone to put their stamp on with the potential to go on in any sphere.
Otto is a super mover with 3 excellent paces including a massive walk. Showing some lovely moments working into a contact but is still very much in the beginning stages of his retraining. He loves to learn and is so willing and trainable, a real pleasure to work with because he tries so hard. Well balanced, forward and responsive.
Has been introduced to small fences and will trot and pop sweetly. Has started doing small local shows and has been unphased by the environment and different fences. Potential to event with the right production.
Excellent to hack, good on his own and in company. Really marches out and enjoys a bit of sight seeing! Not spooky or silly and really does have such a willing attitude to everything he does. Good to do on the ground with no quirks or vices.
Otto is a lovely, straightforward retraining project for a competent and confident rider looking for a TB who is everything we love about the breed. Otto flew through a vetting very recently where he was praised for his good feet and soundness. Otto's only flaw is that he has a tiny pea sized sarcoid on his sheath and another by his belly button. They are barely noticeable, do not affect him in any way and are best just left alone.
