15.2hh 8yo mare Oasis Dream x Parisi. Gorgeous little horse with a heart of gold. ROR eligible.

Tabby retired from racing sound in January 2021 before being professionally retrained where she was hacked, given basic schooling and taught to jump. She is a light, athletic model with the prettiest face and good limbs. Tabby is beautiful inside and out, she has the sweetest nature on the ground and always greets you with a smile.

In her current home Tabby has primarily been used for hacking and outdoor pursuits! Tabby and her owner regularly hacked for miles on their own through their local country parks and villages and Tabby is a bold and forward but mannerly hack both alone and in company. Will happily lead or follow when in company and is excellent on the roads and in open spaces.

Has done several fun rides in groups of 5 or 6 others as well as several Sport Endurance rides up to 15 miles, always taking everything in her stride and not getting wound up or upset by other horses around her.

Tabby is a light and responsive ride under saddle and would suit an equally light and sympathetic rider. She is mannerly and polite and will stand and wait for you to get on and do the girth etc but she is a sensitive, intelligent horse who deserves to be treated with care and respect.. She moves well across 3 balanced paces with a flashy flicky trot and a super hind leg in the canter. She has the basics schooling but hasn't done much the last year so would need producing on for sport, for which she has the potential in eventing, dressage or as a riding club allrounder.

Has been taught to jump and introduced to fillers but hasn't done any jumping in the last year until coming back to us on sales livery due to owner's lack of facilities. She is bold and careful, showing good scope and technique with plenty of potential for the right rider to produce on for sport.

Tabby has lived on big busy yards and on small set-ups. For the last year she has lived with one other pony as a companion, living out in the Summer with a field shelter and stabled at night in the Winter and out during day. She is good to catch, groom, clip, worm, for the farrier and vet. She is up to date with teeth and back, having being done last November. Flue and Tetanus up to date.

She travels well on her own and with others in both a trailer and lorry. She will slightly weave occasionally when loaded, and waiting to get going, but soon stops once you are travelling.

A confident, calm, lightweight rider, used to the quirks of the breed would suit Tabby best.

For sale on behalf of a client. Serious enquiries to please call ONLY. Has been seen to sometimes weave when stressed but is generally quite a settled mare. Texts and messages will not be answered. All videos can be found on the Amy Derber Equestrian Facebook page please search for 'Tabby.'
