Chaos
15.1hh (to mature 15.2hh) rising 4yo registered ISH gelding by full Connemara stallion Grange Merlin Serf.
A real head turner with enormous presence. Lovely sporty, compact model beautifully marked with a kind, willing and very genuine nature. Very mature minded with such a fantastic, trainable brain. Working well on the flat for his age with 3 big, flashy paces. Working very correctly, holds himself in a lovely shape with a light mouth. Basics established but has not been over-produced, very willing and trainable and tries very hard to get it right. Really improves a rider but would best suit a quiet jockey with good hands and independent seat. Doesn't want to be kicked and pulled. Would certainly do BD and is an ideal junior dressage prospect.
Forward and responsive ride, obedient to the aids. Very forgiving, genuine and currently unspoilt so please no kickers or pullers.
Very good to a fence, comes in quietly and maintains a rhythm in and out. Makes a good shape and shows good scope and technique, doesn't want to touch a pole. Schooled over fillers and trays but has been brought on conservatively to keep his confidence high and not over-face him. He is incredibly bold and never says no, will do his best to sort himself out if he's wrong. Very good at reading the question and is not at all phased by new experiences.
Been cross country schooling, popping a range of little fences, water, ditches and banks confidently and boldly, always first time. Very quick learner and quick thinking. Big canter that covers the ground well and would have no trouble at all making the time. His talent and trainability make him the ideal junior event prospect.
Has done a fun ride where he behaved impeccably and was completely unphased by the new experience. Would certainly hunt.
Loads and travels in a lorry, 3.5t and trailer. Has been away from home schooling and stayed on the box whilst another was taken away, then left the box himself on his own to school with no issues. Absolutely no indication of any napping or clingyness. Polite and mannerly under saddle, doesn't get hot or fizzy. In a snaffle for all activities.
Hacks out alone and in company, good on the roads, in open spaces and with farm machinery. Not at all spooky, sharp or silly just a quality youngster who requires appropriate riding and management. Very good to do on the ground and is a friendly, kind and straightforward young horse with the most amazing brain. No quirks, vices, hang-ups or medical issues. Quiet with small children.
Anyone's ride but would prefer him to go to a competent and capable home where he will be loved, enjoyed and treated appropriately. Suitable for a teenager or small adult. Temperament for riding club with ability for BD and BE.
