Approx 16.2hh 4yo registered Traditional ISH mare Castlelawn Captain Junior x Dungimmon Star King.
Eye-catching liver chestnut mare, a very attractive sporty model with good bone. Already proving herself as a hunter with plenty of potential and class to go on in any sphere. Exceptional temperament and a straightforward, light, easy ride she really is the whole package that everyone looks for.
3 active, uphill paces. Well balanced and rhythmical, working into the lightest of contacts in a very consistent manner. Very easy, straightforward ride with so much potential and is so willing and trainable - but remember, she is only 4 and has mostly been enjoying outside activities, she has not been perfecting her 20m circles so please bear this in mind when enquiring. Would do dressage, event, showjump, team chase, hunt, all of the above and more!
Very easy to a fence. Just get her there and she will jump it for you. Not at all strong or silly, doesn't change at all on the way in or out, just green still but super bold and very willing. Confidently schooling over water trays and fillers, has also cross country schooled. Doesn't overjump or helicopter but is careful with lovely technique, especially behind. Doesn't look at anything, be it showjumps, cross country jumps or hunt jumps.
Out draghunting now. Mannerly, bold, always in a snaffle. Hacks out on her own or in company, will go first or last but obviously being 4 she needs a rider who can give her a bit of confidence when she looks for it on her own. Good in open spaces and in traffic including farm machinery and heavy vehicles. No quirks, vices, ifs or buts. Good to do in all ways and a real pleasure to have around. A very rewarding horse to work with who will give someone a lot of fun but a quality, young horse so please no novices, wet weekends or daydreamers.
